May poles, May streamers, May crowns. I vote we use this fun pagan holiday (one that’s enjoying a renewed appreciation of late) as an excuse to make art! What’s better than celebrating the fact that summer is ALMOST here? Taking a cue from prop stylist Ashley Norton, you could use crepe paper to make a crown. Or just dance around!

Crepe Paper Crown

1. Two colors of crepe paper (measure your dome with the first length, then repeat with the second color

2. Scissors to cut a cool edge on both pieces

3. Glue gun to seal

VOILA!

I’ve arrived!

I’m scooting around Singapore with friends, eating my way through this balmy, well-organized island. From hawker stalls to star chefs, the shining star here in SG is, as you’ve undoubtedly heard, food.

The diary begins with a rather western entry… key lime pie! Though I recently made this from scratch for my man with what I thought were impressive results, I have to say that PS Cafe has put me to shame. Props, man…
